After submitting information, (listings, reviews, venue request, classified ad) how long should I wait before seeing it on the site?

We do our best to get anything you submit to Macc Music moderated and posted as soon as we can. It can vary from 1 minute (as long as it takes to read whatever you’ve posted) to an hour or so, however there is pretty much round the clock monitoring of the inbox used to notify our moderators. So as long as it’s not silly o’clock in the morning, don’t expect too long a wait.

I’ve submitted a classified ad and it’s been sold / the position has been filled and I’m sick of the phone calls, what do I do?

Easy, send us an email requesting it to be removed. As long as the email address we’ve got on record is where the request comes from, we’ll remove it as soon as we can.

Somebody has written a nasty review and it’s been posted up clear as day, our singer / bass player / drummer / guitar player is in tears!

We do our best to moderate everything posted on the site as fairly as possible. If you really do have a serious problem with something on the site contact us referencing the post and we will consider your case and do our best to resolve the matter.

I want to advertise my venue on your brilliant site as I know it will help improve sales

Currently we do not have an advertising scheme in place but we are thinking about adding it in the future, watch this space!

I’ve submitted a post, waited days and it’s still not on the site. What’s the score?

Usually, posts are read, checked for anything that might be offensive (serious onslaughts or personal assaults are seriously frowned upon) and then listed almost straight away. If the moderator looking at your post decides that it doesn’t meet the regulations then we will contact you to tell you. Make sure you’ve checked any junk folders in your email before shouting at us!
